First Things First

Nurse Family Partnership
Nurse-Family Partnership is a community healthcare program that will connect prenatal expecting parents (28 weeks or earlier) with a nurse home visitor. Through the visits, the parent will learn how to best care for her child. Nurse Family Partnership’s goal is to help parents become confident and assured in their parenting skills, so the parent and child can look forward to a better future.

Early Head Start
Early Head Start (EHS) promotes high-quality care for young children and provides access to comprehensive services and support that strengthen families. EHS provides comprehensive developmental services for children and social services for their families. Child-Parent Centers offers educational, social, medical, dental, nutritional, and mental health services, along with parent involvement activities for families.
